Three waves of comprehensive EE courses will start by end of August. Check classes schedule below. Classes starting dates are based on “first book, first start date” for longer practice and revision time.
The Premier Evaluation Exam Prep. course curriculum serves as a very useful guide for the content of the current education pharmacy school curriculum in Canada. This course will provide the essential techniques and required skills to help you write the Pharmacist Evaluation Exam (EE).
This is the first step in the pharmacy board licensure pathway in Canada, in order to get fully licensed and be able to practice and work in the local Canadian market.
The course provides essential knowledge in the fields of pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical sciences, pharmacy practice (clinical sciences and professional practice skills), behavioral, social, and administrative pharmacy sciences. 7-week comprehensive course (2 classes per week). Intensive practice through the most updated Q&A bank and case studies with unlimited access to the newest video library is included.
- Recognize the fundamentals of biochemistry, the metabolism of different macronutrients, the biochemical significance of hormones, and how the human body is structured and is functioning.
- Understand the molecular basis of cell regulation and the recent advances in the fields of molecular biology and genetic information in life forms.
- Establish a comprehensive overview of the immune system, immune responses, the study of vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, and their clinical applications.
- Develop sufficient knowledge of the role of biopharmaceuticals, pre-formulation, and physical pharmacy in the development of safe, stable, and effective dosage forms.
- Master the pharmacokinetic and biopharmaceutic concepts and their therapeutic monitoring.
- Develop basic pharmacological knowledge of the key therapeutic areas.
- Form a framework for understanding toxicological problems, therapeutic approaches to different diseases, the patient care process, and professional practice skills.
- Master the basic values that articulate the ethical foundations for providing effective patient care while getting acquainted with the different provincial and federal pharmacy regulations in Canada.
Primer is a comprehensive course that prepares the candidates with a solid foundation, hence enabling them to advance to the next milestone of their licensure’s road map, i.e., qualifying exam parts I and II, before being fully licensed and registered in Canada.
Group 1 classes’ start date is the week of August 24th. Limited spots
Group 2 classes’ start date is the week of October 12th. Registration is open.
Group 3 classes’ start date is the week of October 26th. Registration is open.
There is no refund policy in place for any crash courses. For the intensive courses, a 3-week cancellation notice is required prior to the start date with a 10% non-refundable admin fee. There is no refund or trial class policy in place across all Edge Plus programs after the classes have already started.
Due to the small group setup policy pursued by Edge Plus to maximize its courses’ value, in the event of a “no show” without prior notification and/or if repeated more than two times in the same course, 50% make-up fees will be applied for classes’ re-attendance in the same or next wave.
Access to the study library is open for one full year from the date of registration. Renewal of access is required after that, with additional fees of $150 every six months.
Once registration in any of our preparation programs or any service is purchased through our website and the payment is processed, automatic access to the study library is granted. This unlimited access granted to our study library with all handouts, videos, recordings, and program resources is irreversible and non-refundable.
