EdgeMax – OSCEmulator OPTIMA
EdgeMax focuses on mastering the non-interactive stations of the PEBC Qualifying Exam Part II.
There are two types of non-interactive stations:
1. Screening new prescriptions
Objective: To effectively and safely screen new Rx to identify and describe any errors, omissions, or DTPs in order to allow safe and accurate product dispense.
There are 5 Rx to be screened on this station, and some might contain one or more problems to be resolved.
2. Checking prepared prescriptions
Objective: To check prepared medications and identify any corrections needed to be made before releasing the medication to the patient.
There are 4 prepared medications to be assessed on this station, and some might have one or more problems to be corrected.
The ultimate goal of this self-study platform is to provide you with enough practice to prepare you to tackle these stations with perfect time-management skills and the right clinical and technical mindset and expertise.
The platform contains multiple topics under both “Technical Check” and “Rx Screening.” It is recommended to review the slides provided below before attempting quizzes for a better understanding of how to solve cases.
